Polaris Ranger EV Lithium Batteries

Another Polaris Ranger EV rolls off the production line with Lithium Batteries. We installed 200Ah LFP batteries (80kg total) as a direct replacement for the 8 x US Battery 12V 155Ah (200+ kg). Effectively the same usable capacity but with much reduced weight and increased performance.

One big advantage of LiFeP04 (LFP) batteries is they don’t leak ACID. This can corrode terminals, bodywork and be a health hazard.
